365 Grateful Project

I was inspired by The  365 Grateful Project — check it out for yourself! — and decided to give it a shot.

I suffer from depression as well and am trying to live happy, out loud, and present without medication. It has become easier since I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior, but at times starts to get the best of me.

I started it in 2011 but only made it through the first two months. I am starting again January 2012 as one of my Resolutions. Most will be pictures but some will just be writings.

I will try to post 1ce a week with all 7 pictures (or writings).

What is the point of the 365 Gratitude Project? :

  • Bring God glory for his creativity by finding joy in every single day — no matter how seemingly miniscule.
  • Choose a grateful heart every day by focusing on it.
  • By going the distance of a whole year, it will become a way of life instead of a project.
  • Help to stay positive and reassured in His goodness in a world that seems to be increasingly bad.

Day 1: My family.  They bring out the best in me. I can’t imagine an existence without them. I can’t even pretend to know what it would be like to wake up one day and not have my family.
