1.  I am a coffee addict. Mmmm, coffee.

2. My great love is live Theatre.
I had my first experience in 5th grade when my mom bought me The Phantom of the Opera on cassette tape. I have been hooked ever since.

3. It occurred to me just this year that I am raising someone’s future husband. Someone’s future dad. What a herculean responsibility. I don’t know what God sees in me to have chosen me, but I’m glad he sees it.

4.  My dream is to see Europe before I die.

5. Although I’m afraid to be judged, I realize now that true, even if painful, testimonies are more powerful than many other means of sharing Christ.

6. I have become more ‘traditional’ with each year I age.

7.  I never really believed that anyone besides my best friend would actually read this blog.

  3. Congratulations on your award and thank you for nominating my blog. I think I’m a fellow coffee addict, and love people who love live theater, because that is where I worked most of my life. I was a stage manager, director, theater tech, scriptwriter, and also did stints as a technical director, costumer, makeup artist, set designer and builder, Prop Mistress, Dresser, light board operator, lighting technician, , and often helped set up sound equipment. It is the only job where you can live in different worlds, places and stories with each new play and musical, and where you still can play dress up, or use your imagination to its fullest. My favorite thing about working it is that I could use my gift of encouragement to encourage the gifts and talents I saw in others. Between working secular and Christian theater, I always loved Christian the best because of how it touches hearts for Christ through the production. I once helped build the set of Bethlehem, and for the whole month of December as stage manager I pretty much lived in the venue being there just about 14 to 16 hours a day. I cried when we had to strike the set because it was my favorite.

  4. Thankyou Michelle, that’s so sweet of you! I’ve actually finished the Year of Kindness now – it was a crazy and wonderful journey! I’m now blogging about my adventures volunteering in Tanzania here: You do certainly have a lovely blog. Keep it up. 🙂
